Tony Hawk was born on May 12th 1968 in Carlsbad, California. He is considered to be one of the best skaters of all time. Professional since the age of 11 years old, Tony Hawk became renowned for winning the highest profile vert and street competitions.

In 1998, inspired by his own son, he decided to start his own brand creating functional and fashionable clothes for young skateboarders.

With the help of his sister Pat, Hawk Clothing quickly becomes a huge success within the skateboard industry.

In April, 2000, Quiksilver Inc and Hawk Inc. reached a unique agreement : Quiksilver Inc. would acquire Hawk Clothing.

In 2001 the Hawk European offices open at Na Pali (Quiksilver Europe) in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Since June, 2006, Hawk has been located in Hossegor at the office of the Quiksilver Technical Division.
